About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Marina di Francavilla is a small marina on the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo, between Pescara and Ortona, with 95 berths for boats up to 11 metres, 18,000 square metres of marina area and 500 metres of quay. The marina is part of the Via Verde cycle route along the Costa dei Trabocchi and holds the Blue Flag.
The entrance faces north-east, and the seabed is sandy with depths between 2.5 and 3.2 metres in the main basin; at low tide the depth at the entrance can drop below 3.0 metres. From 1 May to 30 September staff are on hand to assist with berthing from 8.30am-1pm and 3pm-7.30pm, and the rest of the year from 9.30am-12.30pm and 3pm-5pm. The daily rate starts from €30 for boats up to 7 metres, rising to €40 (7.01-9m) and €50 (9-11m); monthly, seasonal and annual rates are also available.
The marina offers fresh water and shore power at the quay, a crane for launching and hauling out boats (2 tons), a slipway for dinghies next to the harbour, parking for members, waste disposal, and assistance with boat maintenance and repair. There is also 24-hour video surveillance and cleaning of the quays and harbour basin.
The marina is close to Francavilla al Mare and just a few nautical miles from Ancona and the Gargano park. Moor at Marina di Francavilla and explore the Costa dei Trabocchi from the sea.
