About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Marina di Santa Marinella is a marina nestled in the town of Santa Marinella, at the foot of the medieval Castello Odescalchi on the Lazio-Maremma coast, not far from Capo Linaro and about 70 km from Rome. The marina is sheltered by a large breakwater with fixed and floating pontoons in Mediterranean-mooring style, and beneath the castle walls there is a dry stack for boats up to about 7.50 m, with a coin-operated 1,500 kg davit crane that guests can operate themselves from dawn to dusk. The marina can be reached on VHF channel 9.
Mooring assistance is available 24 hours a day, and there is water and electricity on the pontoons as well as a petrol and diesel fuel berth on the quay. There is a slipway for launching and hauling out, plus a 40-ton travel lift for technical service.
Within the marina you'll find toilets and showers (on both the land and sea sides), a bar with a panoramic terrace, a restaurant, wifi, a diving centre (Torre Flavia), waste sorting and an eco-station for oil and batteries. There are also 250 car parking spaces.
Banzai Beach, popular for its surf waves, lies just south of the marina, and Santa Marinella's railway station is a 10-minute walk or a 3-minute bus ride away — from there, direct trains reach Rome in just 35 minutes. Outside the marina gate you'll find a bar, supermarket, newsstands, clothing shops and good seafood restaurants just a few minutes' walk away.
