About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Marina Kaštela lies in Kaštel Gomilica in the north-eastern part of Kaštelanski Bay on the Dalmatian coast, between Split and Trogir, just 7 km from Split Airport. It is one of the largest and most modern marinas in this part of the Adriatic, with 420 berths in the water and a further 200 dry-storage spaces on land, plus a 60-tonne travel lift for hauling out boats up to 23 metres.
Entry is from the north-west between two large breakwaters; the approach depth is 4.8 m, while the shallowest depth inside the marina is 1.80 m. Speed within the marina is limited to 2 knots. Call the marina staff on VHF channel 17 and you will be guided to your berth. Watch out for the Galija shoal off the entrance, which should be passed on the starboard side.
Water and electricity are available at the berths. There are sanitary facilities as well as a waste station for used oil, filters, bilge sludge and batteries in the service area. Ashore you'll find the restaurants Spinnaker and Nautic and Café BavAdria, plus a 25-metre indoor pool for guests to use. Two large car parks are available for visitors.
The surroundings include the medieval Kaštilac fortress right next to the marina, and the wider Kaštela area with olive groves, vineyards and citrus orchards rising towards Mount Kozjak. Berth in the sheltered marina and walk the short distance to Kaštilac fortress, or enjoy the view over Kaštelanski Bay from the café.
