About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Marina Porto Antico lies in the heart of Genoa's historic harbour in Liguria, sheltered by the largest breakwater in the Mediterranean. The marina offers 270 berths for boats from 10 to 75 metres, with depths of up to 8 metres at the berths, plus a picturesque inner basin with traditional Ligurian boats. The marina monitors VHF channel 74 and provides mooring assistance from shore and, during the day, also by rubber dinghy. Every berth has shore power (up to 250A), water and wifi, and there are electric-vehicle charging points at the adjoining 230-space car park. On the pontoons you'll find toilets and showers split between Ponte Calvi and Ponte Morosini, plus a coin-operated laundry with washer and dryer at Ponte Morosini. A fuel station sits just north of the marina opposite pontoon F, and waste sorting is compulsory with bins on both the pontoons and ashore. Around the marina you'll find a supermarket, bakery, chandlery, tobacconist and numerous restaurants, bars and pizzerias. Genoa's famous Aquarium is just 100 metres from the car park, and it's a short walk to the cathedral, the Rolli Palaces and the whole historic centre. A metro station and public transport are close by, making the marina an ideal base for exploring Genoa and the coast towards Portofino. Berth at one of the 270 berths and stroll the short distance into Porto Antico and the Aquarium.
