About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Marina Punat on the island of Krk is Croatia's oldest marina, established in 1964, and is regarded as the largest marina in the Northern Adriatic. It sits in a naturally protected bay on the southwest side of the island and offers 14 piers accommodating vessels up to 40-45 metres in length. The marina was the first in Croatia to be awarded the Blue Flag (1998) as well as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, and has repeatedly been named Croatia's best marina. There is also extensive land storage and a dry marina.
Sailors must pass through the narrow Usta strait to enter the marina, which can become difficult in strong Bora or southwesterly winds, and swimmers should be watched for during the day. The marina is open all year round, with a few berths for visiting yachts available at the L-shaped transit pier in the northern part of the complex.
Onboard you'll find well-equipped facilities: six sanitary blocks with over 70 showers and unlimited hot water, pump-out service for black and grey water tanks, self-service laundry, a well-stocked chandlery and a supermarket right in the marina. Free wifi covers the entire site, there are over 700 parking spaces, bike rental, and an on-site restaurant and pizzeria.
Within walking or cycling distance in the town of Punat you'll find several supermarkets, bakeries, butchers and a daily fresh produce market, plus restaurants and cafés along the charming waterfront.
