Marina Ranca

Marina Ranca is situated on Lake Ptuj on the Drava River in eastern Slovenia, and it is described as the only and first inland marina in Slovenia. The marina offers 60 permanent moorings for sailing boats and other boats with a draft of 1.3 metres or less, and berths can be hired for a single day, a week, a month, or on a seasonal or annual basis.

The marina has a crane used to launch and lift boats, including vessels over 10 metres long, and Ranca is also the departure point for panoramic sailings aboard the tourist boat Cigra, which carries 25 passengers on a fixed timetable with views over the old town centre of Ptuj.

At the marina you'll find the Ranca bar, offering hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream and cocktails.

Nearby is a beach volleyball, handball and football pitch, where the annual Beach-Master event – a major international tournament for volleyball enthusiasts – is held each summer, along with the Slovenian kayak championship and several local festivals. Stop by the Ranca bar and take in the lake views while your boat lies safely moored.
