About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Marina Schokkerstrand lies on the Ketelmeer on the eastern side of the IJsselmeer, in a still-undiscovered sailing area with both open and sheltered water. The marina has 250 berths from 10 to 30 metres on floating pontoons with hardwood decking, and the walkways are 2.5 metres wide with a boarding gangway at every berth.
The guest berth rate is €3.00 per metre per night, including sanitary facilities, water, electricity, wifi, waste disposal and tourist tax; book by contacting the harbour master. The harbour office is open daily by appointment.
At the pontoons you'll find 16A shore power connections and water points, plus a 20-tonne boat crane and winter storage (including covered storage) via JSS Jachtservice Schokkerhaven. Ashore there are toilets, washing and shower facilities, washing machines and dryers, free wifi, ample parking in a gated area, luggage trolleys and loaner bikes for shopping trips into Nagele. A restaurant/yacht club overlooking the marina, the beach and the Ketelmeer sits right by the harbour, and Restaurant Pier16 (formerly Restaurant Schokkerhaven) is open all year, serving rustic dishes made from local produce.
Just outside the marina lies a large sandy beach on the Ketelmeer, with kayak rental available, and Schokland and Museum Nagele are nearby. Tie up at the wide pontoons and step straight from the marina onto the beach or into Pier16 for a meal with a view over the Ketelmeer.
