Joensuun vierasvenesatama is the guest harbour of Joensuu, Finland, with several distinct berth areas for visiting boats. Area 1 is a floating pontoon with a locked gate offering both alongside and mooring buoy berths, while Area 3 is a fixed wooden jetty with alongside berths for smaller boats. Area 2 is a fixed concrete quay for larger vessels but is not in use during summer 2024.

Payment is by the hour, day or week and can be made via the ParkMan app, which provides the access code for the gate as well as for the shower and toilet. A day at Area 1 costs €18, at Area 3 €15, with both prices including electricity, water, waste disposal, shower and toilet. Guest berths are intended for stays of up to 7 days; longer stays require a separate agreement with Joensuun Satama Oy.

Showers and toilets are located in the building housing Kesäravintola Tuulaaki, where you also collect the door code for these facilities. Area 1 has electricity and water directly at the berth, while water at Area 3 is drawn from a service pontoon. Restaurant Tuulaaki sits right by the harbour, offering food and drink to sailors after a day on the water.

Tie up at the floating guest pontoon in Area 1 and walk straight up to Kesäravintola Tuulaaki for a well-earned break.
