MBC Havelbucht

MBC Havelbucht Potsdam e.V. is a yellow-wave boating club right in the centre of Potsdam on the southwest bank of the Neustädter Havelbucht, close to Park Sanssouci. The club offers a number of guest berths, supplemented in season by members' free spots; reservations are no longer accepted except for regular guests. The berths are 3-4 m wide with a minimum water depth of 1.20 m at normal Havel water levels. All jetties are equipped with 230V shore power and drinking water for bunkering, and there is a chemical-toilet pump-out station by the toilet container. On the club grounds you'll find a sanitary container with toilet, wash facilities and a shower. Crane work up to 4.5 tonnes is available by prior arrangement. On the large lawn, guests can enjoy benches, a parasol and a grill area. Just 300-600 metres away are bakeries, a Greek and an Italian restaurant, a snack bar and the restaurant Seerose, plus the Potsdamer Markt-Center with several supermarkets - Aldi even has its own boat jetty. Bus and tram stops as well as Nextbike bicycle rental are a few minutes away, and the RE1 regional train runs from Potsdam Charlottenhof to Berlin every two hours. Tie up at the club's guest berth and stroll the short distance to Park Sanssouci and the town's cafés.
