About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Mõntu harbour lies on the east coast of the Sõrve Peninsula in the village of Mõntu on Saaremaa, covering 14,600 m² of land and 70,800 m² of water. The harbour has 3 quays with a total length of 242 m, and the greatest depth at the quay is 5.2 m. It can accommodate vessels up to 135 m in length, 18 m in beam and 4.5 m draft.
The approach is marked by the Mõntu quay light as well as the lower and upper lights of the Mõntu leading line. Two price lists apply: at Mõntu sadam itself, a berth for boats up to 15 m costs 16 EUR per 24 hours, while stays under 2 hours are free. At the smaller Mõntu Väikesadam, a berth for boats up to 8 m starts from 10 EUR per 24 hours, and stays of up to 8 hours without an overnight stay cost 10 EUR.
The harbour offers a slipway for launching boats, electricity, fresh water, pump-out of bilge and septic tanks, an automatic fuel station, waste collection, and access to showers and toilets. Cargo loading and unloading can be arranged, large events can be hosted, and hiking cabin accommodation is available.
