Motorbootclub Poppenweiler

Motorbootclub Poppenweiler is a club marina on the Neckar river, run by MBC Poppenweiler e.V. The facility is open from 3 May to 3 October on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 to 20:00, with the slipway available 10:00-19:00; opening hours may be shortened in bad weather, and slipway use outside the season can be arranged in advance. A day ticket for launching/hauling costs EUR 20 (EUR 10 for an inflatable without trailer), a weekend ticket EUR 30 with EUR 10 per extra day. Travelling boaters carrying the "blauer Punkt" (Freundschaft auf dem Wasser) scheme can stay free for the first 3 nights, then pay EUR 10 per night for boats up to 8 m and EUR 15 for larger boats; without the blue point it is EUR 10 and EUR 15 respectively from the first night. Showers and a toilet are available on site, power at the pontoon costs EUR 4 per day, a waste fee for visiting boaters is EUR 2 per day, and parking for car and trailer costs EUR 4 per night. Berth up at the club's pontoon in Poppenweiler, use the slipway between 10:00 and 19:00, and enjoy the three free nights if you're sailing with the blue point.
