About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Nattviken is one of Härnösand's three municipal guest harbours and lies below the white boathouses between the town's two bridges on the mainland side. The relatively new guest harbour was inaugurated in the summer of 2000.
The guest harbour is normally open from 15 May to 30 September. The bridges Nybron and Västra Kanalbron open in summer from 9–11 AM and 6–8 PM, and bridge openings must be ordered at least one hour in advance. When you pay the harbour fee – nowadays via the GoMarina app – you also receive the code for the service building.
The service house in the boathouse offers toilets, showers, a washing machine and a kitchen/lounge area for visiting sailors. A restaurant sits right on the quay, and there are good refuelling options in the area. About 100 metres from the harbour you'll find a chandlery, and bicycles as well as pedal or row boats can be rented.
From here it's an easy walk into central Härnösand with restaurants, cafés and shops, plus attractions such as Technichus, the art gallery, the swimming hall with relaxation area, the cathedral, the library and Sweden's largest car museum. Tie up beneath the town's characteristic white boathouses and explore one of the High Coast's most inviting summer towns.
