About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Natursport Bremen e.V. is a third-generation boathouse near Bremen's Stadtwald, with direct access to the small Wümme river. From here you can start tours towards Kuhsiel or Dammsiel, through the Torkanal and Maschinenfleet on to the Lesum and Weser.
The boathouse offers indoor and water berths for canoes, kayaks and motorboats up to 6 metres in length. The Dammsiel lock is open Tuesday to Friday 10:00-18:00 and Saturday-Sunday 10:00-20:00 (closed Mondays), with a lunch break 13:00-14:00; public holidays follow weekend hours. Note that the Kuhsiel lock is currently closed.
On site there is a small workshop where repairs can be carried out, plus the freshly renovated WERKRAUM, an 80 sqm space with a separate guest toilet, which members can rent for up to 20 people.
The grounds offer room to relax, and a garden pavilion is suited for breakfast with friends. Berth your boat in the hall or on the water and explore the Wümme and surrounding canals right from the boathouse.
