About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Yacht-Club Leverkusen-Hitdorf (YCLH) is located at Rhine kilometre 705.8/707 in Leverkusen-Hitdorf, sheltered behind a breakwater from wash caused by commercial shipping traffic. The club has around 60 berths for motor and sailing yachts up to 12 metres, and guest boaters are always welcome.
The entrance is at Rhine km 707 downstream on the right after the breakwater - follow the marked channel all the way in to the club at the far end of the harbour, which is about one kilometre long. During high water, boaters must follow the specially marked entrance, as the breakwater can be submerged. Guest berths include shore power in the price (€3/night for boats under 8.99 m, €5/night from 9 m), and use of the sanitary facilities is included. There is a slipway for trailerable boats for €15 per use, plus a rail slip for repairs by arrangement with the harbourmaster - both close during high water levels.
At the marina you'll find toilets for men and women in the clubhouse (code access), shore power at the berths, a large lit and fenced car park by the pontoons and clubhouse, and free wifi. There is also a slipway for launching trailerable boats.
Just 150 metres from the car park you'll find good shopping options such as Edeka, Aldi, a pharmacy, a hairdresser and a kiosk with lottery. The restaurant "Alte Brauerei" and pizzeria "Gusto" are about a 3-minute walk away, and the old town with cafés and restaurants can be reached in the same time.
