About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Nord-Ost Marina lies in the Petroleumhafen, a side arm of the river Trave, right at the gates of Lübeck. The marina has more than 100 berths at comfortable floating pontoons, offering a calm and secure berth in both summer and winter – the harbour stays ice-free all year, so even a New Year's cruise on the Trave is possible.
From here the skipper can choose between quiet sailing on the Trave, a sea passage from Travemünde, or the urban buzz of Lübeck's town harbours.
The marina offers modern sanitary facilities with showers and toilets, plus a service room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwashing facilities, and a book corner for relaxing. Free wifi is available throughout the area. A separate mast crane is on hand if you want to step or unstep your mast yourself, or let the marina staff do it for you. The on-site partner yard Yachtbau Krämer provides advice and service in boatbuilding, electronics and engine technology, and a chandlery on site can be recommended.
In the nearby town of Bad Schwartau you'll find restaurants, pubs, a cinema and grocery shops to restock your supplies. Berth at the floating pontoons of Nord-Ost Marina, enjoy the calm atmosphere, and take the short walk to Bad Schwartau for a meal or some shopping.
