About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Nikøy Gjestebrygge is a guest marina at Bulandet, in Askvoll municipality, at the outer edge of the island world on Norway's west coast. The quay is reached right after the entrance to Bulandet, next to the Joker grocery store, together with Havsalaten kjøkken og bar, and offers berths for around 50 boats with access to shore power.
You arrive immediately after entering Bulandet. The daily harbour fee is: under 35 feet NOK 150, over 35 feet NOK 200, plus NOK 50 for electricity. A card-operated petrol and diesel pump is available on the quay.
The harbour fee includes free use of the service building with toilets and washing machine/dryer, and there is a coin-operated shower. On the quay you will also find a slipway and chandlery, fresh water, waste disposal, wifi and parking, including spaces for motorhomes. Right next to the Joker store you'll find Havsalaten Kjøkken & Bar, Norway's westernmost café and restaurant. At the Joker store on Nikøy you can also rent bikes, for both adults and children.
Bulandet is one of Norway's westernmost inhabited communities and its westernmost active fishing community, and the local heritage museum offers a glimpse into daily life and fishing there. If you want to explore further, you can cycle the 11 km route to Værlandet across a string of bridges with spectacular views over the archipelago. Tie up at Nikøy and experience life at Norway's westernmost edge.
