About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Nord-Ost Marina lies in the Petroleumhafen, a side arm of the river Trave, right at the gates of Lübeck. The marina has more than 100 berths on comfortable floating pontoons and offers both summer and winter berths – the harbour stays ice-free all year, so even a New Year's cruise on the Trave is possible.
Boats moor at the floating pontoons, and boat owners can carry out work on their vessel themselves or rely on the local service companies, including the Yachtbau Krämer boatyard on site.
The marina offers modern sanitary facilities and washrooms, plus a service room with a washing machine, dryer and sink for washing dishes. Free WiFi is available throughout the marina, there's a book corner for relaxation, and a separate mast crane if you want to step or unstep your mast yourself – otherwise the marina will do it for you. If you need new boat equipment, the marina can recommend a local chandlery on site.
In the nearby town of Bad Schwartau you'll find restaurants, pubs, a cinema and grocery shops to restock your supplies. Moor at the floating pontoons of Nord-Ost Marina and stroll into Bad Schwartau for a meal and a look around town.
