About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Nuovo porto La Gabella is the new marina in Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca on Lake Maggiore, built on floating pontoons next to the older Porto della Gabella. The marina has 34 berths in total.
The entrance is wide and easy to approach, with deep water and good manoeuvring space; the bottom is sandy/muddy. At night the entrance is marked by red and green towers. Two berths (no. 32 and 33) are set aside for temporary mooring, while berth no. 1 is reserved for weather and rescue emergencies. Berths are allocated through a tender by the Autorità di Bacino Lacuale dei laghi Maggiore, Comabbio, Monate e Varese, and the recommended maximum boat length is 8 metres.
The marina offers electricity and drinking water at the berths, but there is no pump-out for wastewater and no public toilet. Parking for both cars and motorcycles is available in the immediate vicinity of the marina.
Right next to the marina lies a public garden, and there is a short distance to parking for both cars and motorcycles. Tie up at one of the fixed berths or the temporary berths no. 32-33, and enjoy the easy access and good facilities of this new marina on Lake Maggiore.
