About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Örnsköldsviks Segelsällskap (ÖSS), founded in 1874, is Örnsköldsvik's oldest sports club and Sweden's fourth-oldest sailing club. The club's clubhouse stands in the harbour area on Sjögatan, where the club relocated in the late 1960s, and which is today jointly run with Lungviks Hamnförening, the town's largest recreational marina with about 275 members.
The marina holds around 200 boats in the water and a further 170 on land, and guest berths are also available. A guest berth costs 100 SEK per night plus 40 SEK for electricity per night.
All berths have access to both water and electricity. The harbour association also operates its own mast crane, a slipway, a hard-standing area for mobile crane lifts of boats up to about 20 tonnes, and a fuel berth open to all recreational boats.
The marina is centrally located in Örnsköldsvik, with a pizzeria about 250 metres away and a chandlery roughly 500 metres from the harbour.
