About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Onklaar Anker is a marina on the Nieuwe Meer, on the edge of Amsterdam. The club is well organised and welcomes both visiting sailors and prospective members, though there is currently a waiting list for membership.
On weekdays or early on Sunday mornings there is plenty of space on the water, while it can get busy on warm summer days. From the marina's dyke you have a fine view over the lake, with shady trees to sit under.
Around the marina you can walk and cycle in De Oeverlanden, which has footpaths and small beaches. In summer a ferry runs to Amsterdamse Bos. Behind the marina lies the allotment park Tuinpark 'Ons Buiten', with pleasant green walks among beautiful trees and shrubs.
Berth at Onklaar Anker and take a stroll along the dyke overlooking the Nieuwe Meer, before exploring Oeverlanden or catching the ferry to Amsterdamse Bos.
