About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Oslo Motorbåtforening is a non-profit association founded in 1911, with its jetty facilities and clubhouse at the innermost end of Bestumkilen in Oslo. The marina has around 440 berths of various sizes, allocated to members by seniority.
In winter the area is used for boat storage, and in summer for motorhome parking, alongside parking for marina users. Parking is managed by APCOA, with short-term parking at NOK 30/hour, 24-hour parking at NOK 300, and seasonal parking at NOK 600; using the launch ramp costs NOK 50.
At the marina you'll find a waste container outside the clubhouse behind a locked gate for ordinary household waste, as well as a pump-out station for boat septic tanks on a floating pontoon in Bestumkilen. The clubhouse offers meeting rooms and function rooms, though the restaurant is no longer open to the public.
The marina lies on the Bygdøy side of Oslo in a quiet inlet with a long tradition dating back to 1922. Berth at the historic jetty facilities in Bestumkilen and make use of the pump-out station on the pontoon during your cruise on the Oslofjord.
