About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Maisaari is the City of Turku's recreational island in Rymättylä, once a centre for peasant sailing. The popular meeting and camp-school island offers plenty of room for groups, with accommodation for more than 50 people in the renovated Antolan talo and in five cosy rental cottages equipped with bedding and electric heating.
At the harbour you'll find a kiosk attached to the office, several grill huts, two beach saunas and a sandy beach. There is also a tilausravintola serving grilled food to order, plus a pizzeria making pizzas with love. The playground has been upgraded in recent years, and there's even a stable for hobby horses and an obstacle course for children.
On the island you can play football, volleyball and disc golf, explore nature trails, or paddle and row - rowing boats, kayaks and SUP boards are available for hire. A water taxi also runs from Rööla. The office and pizzeria are open 10:00-20:00 in April, May, September and October, and at least 09:00-21:00 in June, July and August.
Berth at Maisaari and enjoy a day of grilled food, beach life and activities for the whole family.
