About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Port du Cap d'Agde is located in Occitanie in the Hérault department and comprises several harbour sections: the main marina with 3,100 berths spread across 10 basins, the naturist-friendly Port Ambonne with 300 berths for boats of 4-10 m with less than 1 m draught, and Les berges de l'Hérault by the historic town of Agde. The main marina is an ideal starting point for Mediterranean cruises to Spain (50 nautical miles), the Balearics (200 nautical miles) or Corsica (230 nautical miles).
The harbour office listens on VHF channel 9 during opening hours, and staff speak English, German, Dutch and Spanish. There are waiting quays and arrival quays by the harbour office, and boscos assist year-round with advice and mooring. Payment can be made by card, cheque or cash, and there is a fuel station with diesel offering 24-hour self-service card payment.
The marina offers electricity and water on both pontoons and quays, showers, a laundry, a pump-out station for wastewater, and a recycling point for hazardous waste (open Monday-Friday 14:00-17:30). There is a crane and a slipway in the technical area, plus a chandlery (accastillage). Bicycles are available for hire, and there is parking, restaurants and bars within the harbour area. The marina holds Blue Flag status.
Port Ambonne sits at the heart of a fully self-sufficient naturist village with shops, restaurants, banks and medical services.
