About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Port du Chichoulet is a departmental marina at Vendres-Plage at the mouth of the Aude river, known as a hidden gem of La Domitienne. The harbour serves as a marina, fishing port and shellfish port, holding the Blue Flag and the Port Propre label. It has 260 berths on catways, 20 guest berths (under 12 m) and 3 visitor berths, with a depth of 2 metres in the outer and inner basin.
Entry is via the Aude channel at Vendres-Plage. On arrival, moor at pontoon J bis and report to the harbour office. The harbour office is open every day, with hours varying by season (July-August 7am-8pm, May-June-September 8am-12pm/2-5.30pm, October-April 9am-12pm/2-5pm). Stay at least 2 nights while coastal cruising and get one night free.
The marina offers toilets and showers, freshwater and electricity (220V) at the berths, free wifi, a laundry, waste sorting and a recycling point, plus collection of used water and oil. There is a secured slipway (fee-based), guarded pontoons and car parks, and video surveillance. Several restaurants and a shellfish shop are located right at the harbour.
Go ashore and enjoy fresh shellfish and fish from the kiosks, paired with local white wine – moor at pontoon J bis and let the calm of Chichoulet settle over you.
