About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Marina Pignataro is a marina in the Pignataro bay on the northern side of the island of Lipari in the Aeolian Islands, opposite the commercial harbour. The marina lies in a natural, wind-sheltered bay and is protected by an artificial breakwater, giving calm currents at all times.
Berths are available for boats from 5 to 45 metres in length, with depths of more than 5 metres at the pontoons. The marina monitors VHF channel 74 and offers round-the-clock mooring assistance via its Support Utility Tender (S.U.T.) service. Boats moor at floating pontoons with mooring buoys. Guest berth prices start from EUR 20 per day for the smallest boats (6.50-8.50 m) in the low season, rising in the high season; all prices include VAT plus water and electricity. The marina is open every day of the week, from 8am to 8pm in the summer half of the year (1 May-15 October) and 8am to 6pm the rest of the year.
Berths include electricity (220/380V) and water (non-potable) in the price, plus free wifi across the whole marina. There is 24-hour security and video surveillance, and on request and for a fee you can arrange waste collection, laundry service, diver assistance, and help with hauling out and launching. Parking is available close to your berth for loading and unloading.
Right by the marina you'll find bus and taxi stops as well as restaurants and bars, and there's a free shuttle bus from Porto Pignataro into Lipari town centre.
