About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Porto San Vito is a marina in Grado, beautifully situated between Venice and Trieste at the western tip of the lagoon, just ten nautical miles from the Istrian coast. The marina has 165 berths for boats up to 24 metres, including 16 guest berths, and is open all year round. Depth at the entrance and along the pontoons is 3.50 metres at mean sea level, and the entrance is clearly marked with bricole and safety lights.
At the berths you'll find fresh water and shore power, along with toilets, showers and a laundry. Marina staff are on hand to assist with mooring both afloat and ashore, and free wifi covers the whole marina. The Cantiere Nautico boatyard offers repairs, maintenance, a travel lift and winter storage, while the restaurant La Dinette serves fish dishes with sea views from its veranda. Paid parking is also available inside the marina.
From here it's only 15 km to Trieste-Ronchi dei Legionari airport and to the Cervignano rail hub, while the motorway (A4, Palmanova exit) is 28 km away. Grado itself offers a sandy beach, the ancient Roman harbour and the submerged ruins of the Basilica di San Gottardo, which can be explored with diving gear.
Berth at one of the 16 guest berths in Porto San Vito and step ashore straight into Grado's beach and historic streets.
