About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026The Marina of Capri is located on the island's northern shore at Marina Grande, in a natural bay sheltered from wind by two stone breakwaters. The marina is adjacent to the commercial port and offers a total of 300 boat slips.
Entry requires a radio call in advance, and there is heavy traffic entering and exiting. Maximum depth at the moorings is 8 metres, maximum boat length 60 metres, and the speed limit inside the marina is 2 knots. Boats moor with shore lines and mooring buoys. VHF channel 71 is used generally, while channel 77 is used for embarking and disembarking.
Included in the slip fee are reception, bathrooms and showers, wifi, weather reports, 24-hour security, electric cars, and 24-hour docking assistance by dinghy. For an extra charge, diver services, fuel, water, electricity, and crane service are available.
The marina is connected to Capri town by a funicular that takes passengers to the Piazzetta in just four minutes. Buses and taxis are near the marina, and restaurants, cafés, and grocery shops are also close by. Tie up at Marina Grande and take the funicular up to the lively Piazzetta.
