Potsdamer Yacht Club

Potsdamer Yacht Club (PYC), founded in 1891, is located on Großer Wannsee in Berlin and is a member of the "Gelbe Welle" network, which offers berths to all sailors. The marina has berths for boats up to 13 metres in length, with a water depth of between 1.2 and 2.5 metres at the pontoons. On arrival, moor on the outside of the pontoon structure – advance booking is not possible – after which the boatswain or the office will assign you a berth. Guest berths are marked at the head pontoons, and free, green-marked boxes in the harbour can be used after arrangement with the boatswain. The rate is 4.50 euros per started metre of boat length per day (4.00 euros from day 3–5) plus 4.50 euros per person per day. Check in at the office, with the boatswain, or at the restaurant depending on your arrival time. The marina offers shore power and fresh water at the pontoons, a crane with a capacity of up to 3 tonnes, and a slipway with a launching trolley – arrangements for use must be made with the boatswain in advance. The clubhouse houses toilets, showers, the office and a restaurant. Moor on the outside of the pontoon structure and head straight to the office or restaurant to be assigned your berth on Großer Wannsee.
