Przystań flisacka - Sromowce Niżne

Sromowce Niżne is one of two starting jetties for traditional raft trips (spływ) through the Dunajec River gorge in the Pieniny mountains, run by the Polskie Stowarzyszenie Flisaków Pienińskich. The season runs from 1 April to 31 October, every day except Easter Sunday and Corpus Christi, with ticket sales from 8:30 to 16:00 and no advance booking required.

Rafts depart once at least 11 people have gathered, though smaller groups can still sail by paying a base fee. There are two destination points: Szczawnica (about 18 km, roughly 2 hours 15 minutes) and Krościenko (about 23 km, roughly 2 hours 45 minutes). When boarding, you can order a souvenir photo from the raftsman for 20 zł, ready upon arrival in Szczawnica.

Near Sromowce Niżne you'll find Pizzeria Dunajec, while at the end jetty in Szczawnica there is Bar Madejówka and an inn (zajazd). Accommodation is available in Sromowce Niżne, Sromowce Wyżne, Krościenko, Szczawnica and Czorsztyn.
