About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Przystań kajakowa Wiechlice I is a small kayak dock at the start of the nature trail along Potok Sucha, beautifully situated on an island in the Szprotawa river at the foot of Wzgórze Wiechlicko-Cieciszowskie, next to a small hydroelectric power station. The dock is reached from a county road in Wiechlice, at the eastern end of the village, where an old stone-paved road leads down to the site.
No information is given about the approach channel, depths, VHF channel or number of berths – the place serves as a starting point for kayak trips rather than a conventional marina.
On site there is a wooden shelter with tables and benches, a fire pit with benches and a grill area, plus space to park a car or pitch a tent for a short stay.
From here you can continue by kayak on to the town of Szprotawa, or rest and eat at the nearby Pałac Wiechlice or the adjoining Pałac Henryków. Pull in at the old mill site, light the fire pit and enjoy the view over the island before continuing your trip along the trail or on the water.
