About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Pyysaari is the home marina of Helsingin Työväen Pursiseura, a small marina on an island in Helsinki, connected to the mainland by a footbridge. The marina has around 15 guest berths with a depth of 2-3 metres; at the restaurant and guest jetty the depth is 2 metres closest to shore and 3-4 metres in the outermost third.
Mooring is bow-to on the jetty with a stern line to a buoy (self-service). A guest berth costs €15 per night, paid via MobilePay or bank transfer by 8 pm on the day of arrival; the berth must be vacated by 3 pm on departure day. The gate to the mainland is generally only open during the restaurant's opening hours, and you should be ready to show your payment receipt to the guard.
The marina offers toilets, showers and a sauna (for a fee, €20/hour), drinking water, waste handling with composting, pump-out of septic tanks/chemical toilets, electricity for temporary use, a mast crane (separate charge) and a barbecue area. Restaurant Pyysaari is located at the marina and welcomes visiting sailors.
The marina lies 0.5 km from the nearest road, and heavier transport is handled by ferry from Kulosaari or Herttoniemenranta. Tie up at the guest jetty, pay via MobilePay, and enjoy an evening at Restaurant Pyysaari.
