About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Rastaholm hamn och varv is the private island and marina of the Stockholm Sailing Club (Stockholms Segelsällskap, SSS), beautifully situated on the southern side of Björkfjärden in Lake Mälaren, close to Ekerö. The well-sheltered marina has room for around 250 member boats, and about 400 boats can be stored ashore in winter at the boatyard.
In addition, the guest harbour offers around thirty guest berths. Free car parking is available on the yard area for both members and guests, and transport trolleys plus a service pontoon can be used for loading and unloading.
Electricity and water are provided at every berth, and SSS members enjoy two fee-free nights in the guest harbour (any electricity use may be charged separately). Facilities include toilets, showers and a sauna, along with a waste container and an environmental station, and it is also possible to pump out the boat's holding tank. The boatyard has its own truck for lifting boats up to 10 tonnes.
On the island itself you'll find Rastaholms Värdshus, an inn with a restaurant, which together with a hostel and sauna makes Rastaholm a charming destination in the scenic Mälaren archipelago. Tie up at the pontoons and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this club island.
