About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Reipå harbour is a municipal fishing harbour in Reipå, a village in Meløy Municipality in Nordland, located about 6 kilometres north of Ørnes along County Road 17. The harbour has recently undergone major redevelopment, with the former small-boat marina relocated in 2019 to free up land, and a new road down to the harbour as well as a new breakwater have been built. As part of the project, the inner harbour in front of the new breakwater has been dredged, and the dredged material has been used to create new land for further commercial development of the harbour. Meløy Municipality owns and operates the harbour, which is primarily used by fishing vessels but can also be used by pleasure boats, passenger boats and for the delivery of goods.
