Ruhrorter Yachtclub e.V. - Süd

Ruhrorter Yacht-Club e.V. is a club and guest marina in the Eisenbahnbassin on the Rhine, km 781, in Duisburg-Ruhrort. The marina has two jetties: Nordsteg with 12 berths right under the clubhouse and Südsteg with 23 berths on the opposite side, 35 berths in total.

Guest boats can moor at the end of Nordsteg, where there is space even for larger vessels, while Südsteg is secured with a gate and barbed wire for safety reasons. The clubhouse and car park are alarmed and under camera surveillance. The Rhine itself lies just 150 metres from the marina, and guests have night-time access with a key against a deposit. Every Friday from 7 pm there is a club evening with freshly tapped beer and other drinks.

Both jetties have fresh water and shore power. The clubhouse offers toilets with showers for ladies and gentlemen, and the large panoramic terrace has a covered stone barbecue and outdoor speakers. The marina also has a slipway for launching smaller boats, its own car park, and fixed motorhome pitches with power connections.

Around the Eisenbahnbassin there are good shopping and leisure options, easily reached on foot or by public transport. Moor at Nordsteg or Südsteg and walk the short distance up to the clubhouse terrace for a view over the Rhine.
