About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Sandbakken Marina is a guest harbour in Stadsbygd on the Fosen peninsula in Trøndelag, within Indre Fosen municipality. The marina sits at the outer tip of Rødbergneset, close to the historic Rødberg fog bell. Note that there are actually two harbours here - the outer one is used commercially for fishing, while the inner basin is the guest harbour itself.
The entrance is fairly narrow, and the depth at the quay is a minimum of 2 metres - at extreme low tide it can drop to as little as 1.6 metres just outside the entrance. Mooring is alongside the quay or on floating pontoons, either alongside or in one of the outermost boxes. The harbour offers around 10 guest berths, with prices from 150 NOK per night including electricity; payment can be made by bank transfer, Vipps, or cash in an envelope.
Ashore you'll find a service building with toilets, and free loaner bikes are available right at the harbour for exploring the surrounding area. Right next door is Stadsbygd Boatcenter, a fully equipped workshop offering chandlery services and boat storage.
Grab one of the free bikes and explore the surroundings while your boat lies safely moored at the pontoon.
