About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Sandö Hamn is a private marina with berths for around 550 leisure boats, beautifully located in the Vallda Sandö nature reserve in Kungsbacka municipality, about 30 km south of Gothenburg.
Harbour depth is 2-4 metres. Guest berths are located on the inside of the western pier and on the outside of the floating pontoon, all with alongside mooring, and are marked in yellow. The guest berth fee starts from 200 SEK per night including electricity and shower when paid via Dockspot; paying the harbour host costs 250 SEK. Harbour hosts are on site from 20.00-06.00. Payment can also be made by card at the pontoon.
The marina offers guest berths with water and electricity, a fresh shower facility and an environmental station. The boat crane can lift up to 15 tonnes.
The area offers fine walking trails with rich birdlife and well-regarded sea bathing, and near the harbour stands the cottage Dannevalen with over 200 years of history. A popular 18-hole golf course is nearby, and it's about 12 km to Kungsbacka. Moor at one of the yellow-marked guest berths and explore the nature reserve.
