Sandvik Gästhamn

Sandvik Gästhamn & Camping lies in a scenic bay on the northwest side of Kökar, Åland, close to the ferry harbour. The marina has 50 berths on mooring buoys.

On entry, watch out for rocks on both sides of the jetty, marked with ropes. The guest fee is €35 for the first day and €30 thereafter, plus a €6 per-person daily fee (children €3); the rate covers a crew of up to four, and electricity is included.

At the guest berth you'll find shore power, showers and Wi-Fi. The service house offers a self-catering kitchen, a lounge with board games and a small book corner, plus a laundry room with washing machines. At the service dock east of the guest jetty you can refuel, fill up on drinking water and empty your holding tank with the electric pump-out. Outside the service house stands a grill house with six charcoal grills and a playground with swings and a pirate ship. By the beach you'll find a swimming spot and two beach saunas. The harbour office also houses a grocery store stocking chandlery items and charts, plus bike and kayak rental.

Within easy reach are Kökar Church and the Otterböte Bronze Age settlement, both about 1 km away, while the ferry harbour is 3 km and the shop/post office 4 km from the marina. Pick up a mooring buoy, stroll to the service house, and take a swim before heading off to explore Kökar Church.
