About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Sandviken is a small guest harbour in the innermost part of Bråviken bay, by the village of Krokek on the northern shore of Bråviken in Norrköping Municipality. The harbour is attached to a campsite and is known as a popular stop for both motorists and boaters heading to Kolmården Wildlife Park.
Mooring is mainly on buoys, with depths of around 3-5 metres in the harbour. Be aware that the harbour can experience considerable swell from the large cargo ships passing in the nearby shipping lane, and that the berths are exposed to southerly winds. A bus stop is located close to the jetty, making it easy to continue on to the wildlife park.
At the harbour you'll find a fuel berth, described as the first or last fuelling option for boaters travelling the Göta Canal. There is also a harbourside restaurant (Hamnkrogen) and an ice-cream kiosk, so you can get both food and refreshments close to the boats.
From here it is a short distance to Kolmården Wildlife Park, one of the area's major attractions, and the adjoining campsite provides access to further shore-based facilities nearby.
