About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026The restaurant ship „Klipper“ is a two-masted sailing vessel from 1890, originally built in Groningen to supply the Frisian islands, and has been permanently moored since 2001 on the bank of the Spree at Bulgarische Straße in Berlin-Treptow, between Plänterwald and Treptower Park. The ship is 31.70 m long, 5.70 m wide, with masts rising 24 m high.
You can arrive by your own boat at the 24-hour guest berth, part of the „Gelbe Welle“ network. By land the venue is easily reached via the S-Bahn stations Treptower Park and Plänterwald, by bus, or by car, as ample parking is available.
On board the restaurant is spread across several rooms: a dining room for 40 guests with kitchen and bar in the former cargo hold, a room for 20 guests in the old crew quarters, plus deck seating around the wheel or in deck chairs on the foredeck. The venue also includes a floating pavilion on the water seating up to 30 people and a water terrace with capacity for up to 200 people, along with cruises aboard the charter boat „Rugenbergen“ for up to 28 people.
The restaurant is open year-round, every day from 10:00 to 24:00.
