About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Simphamn is a small guest harbour on a club islet at Strömbäck, run by Umeå Motorbåtssällskap and located within the municipal Kont nature reserve, not far from Umeå. The harbour consists of jetties by the islet where visiting boats can berth subject to availability.
You can enter both on the island's south side and the north side. Depth in the harbour itself is around 1.5-3 metres. Both jetties have electricity outlets (6 A) and fresh water, and the clubhouse has a fully equipped kitchen, TV and a large communal room.
By the car park there is a toilet adapted for wheelchair users, and there is also a toilet with shower next to the adjacent swimming spot right by the harbour. The nature reserve surrounding Simphamn also offers organised grill facilities as part of the area's amenities.
Right next to the harbour is a bathing spot with a sandy beach and sea views, along with fine hiking trails through the nature reserve. There's also a beach volleyball court and caravan pitches nearby, where those renting a pitch have access to a sauna. Berth at the club islet and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere amid scenic surroundings close to Umeå.
