Sjøsenteret Vallø

Sjøsenteret Vallø is a guest and boat marina on Vallø, just 10 minutes from Tønsberg town centre, with the whole Tønsberg archipelago and Tjøme right on the doorstep. All the piers were replaced in 2010 with new power columns and water hoses, and in winter the harbour is kept ice-free by a modern bubble system, allowing boats to stay in the water all year round.

Guest berths are administered by Restaurant Redningen on the dock, and after upfront payment you get access to electricity, garbage disposal, shower and WC. Guest berths are located on Pier 5, numbers 500-505, close to the restaurant, as well as along both sides of the wave-break pier for larger boats (marked "Gjesteplasser"). Prices start at NOK 290 per 24 hours for boats under 12 metres, NOK 380 for boats 12-15 metres, and NOK 590 for boats over 15 metres. Electricity and water are available at the berths, and payment for the guest berth also gives access to shower, WC and garbage disposal. Restaurant Redningen sits right on the dock and doubles as the point of contact for visiting sailors.

Within the Sjøsenteret complex itself there are several activities within walking distance, including a bowling alley, a fitness centre, a CrossFit box, a hair salon, physiotherapy, an amateur theatre, and providers of adventure tours and sailboat rental.
