Skebäcks småbåtshamn

Skebäcks småbåtshamn is Örebro's main small-boat marina in the Skebäck district on Lake Hjälmaren, Sweden's fourth largest lake. The marina is run by the non-profit Skebäcks Varfsförening (SVF), which together with its members leases the facility from Örebro municipality; the harbour comprises around 260 berths plus an adjoining boat storage yard. It is the starting point for many Örebro boaters heading out onto Hjälmaren.

A guest berth is available where visiting boats can moor free of charge for one night; for longer stays you need to contact the harbour master for price and arrangements. The storage yard itself is open from 7am to 23pm, and gate access is linked to paying members' mobile phone numbers.

Within the marina you'll find Hjälmaren's only fuel station, along with a trailer/boat ramp, a mast crane, a pump-out station for holding tanks, and boat service facilities.

The marina serves as the departure point for trips further out on Hjälmaren, and en route toward the central guest harbour you pass the Oset bird reserve, the Vattenparken water park with Naturens Hus, and Osetbron, before reaching the town's guest harbour near Örebro Slott. Tie up here and you're close to a scenic route straight into the heart of Örebro.
