About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Skødshoved Bro Jollehavn is a small, cosy marina in Aarhus Bay, originally a landing stage for packet boats sailing between Aarhus and Mols in the early 1900s. The marina has around 60 permanent boats and 80 berths in total, offering a panoramic view across the bay towards the Marselisborg forests, Aarhus, Risskov and Egå.

Guest berths are marked with a green sign, and there are also guest berths along the breakwater. A guest berth costs DKK 150 per night including electricity and water, regardless of boat size, and there is free mooring for 3 hours without shore power and water. Harbour fees are paid via MobilePay or in an envelope at the desk, no later than 4 hours after arrival. Using the slipway costs DKK 50 per use (launch and haul-out), or DKK 500 for an annual pass.

The marina offers the most essential facilities: electricity, water, toilets and shower rooms, plus a small sailors' lounge. There are benches, tables and a barbecue area where you can enjoy your meal with a view over Aarhus Bay.

At Badehotellet, close to the marina, you'll find a restaurant and a kiosk, and there is a child-friendly bathing beach right by the marina. In Tved, 6 km away, there is a Dagli' Brugsen grocery store. From the marina you have easy access to the whole of Aarhus Bay as well as to Tunø, Samsø and the other harbours in the bay.
