About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Björkö Hamn is a guest harbour located on the island of Björkö in the Öckerö area on the Swedish west coast. It is an active leisure boat harbour with an on-site service building and facilities for visiting sailors.
As a guest you pay a daily rate that varies by season and boat length: during the low season a fixed price applies for all boats and motorhomes, while the high season has different rates for boats under and over 12 metres as well as for larger vessels. Electricity is billed separately via a service code.
In the service building you'll find toilets — one of them wheelchair accessible — along with showers and a laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities, plus a baby-changing table. The harbour has a crane that can lift boats up to 6.5 tonnes as well as a mast crane for up to 400 kg, and a slipway for dinghies and smaller boats. The pump-out station is primarily intended for boat toilet waste but can also be used by motorhomes and caravans, and there is also an option for emptying greywater.
Once ashore you can enjoy a good meal and find plenty to do: visit local artists and craftspeople at Siljans bod, or try Sweden's only 14-hole minigolf course with specially built Björkö obstacles. From the harbour you can also reach an outdoor gym, from where five trails for walking, running or mountain biking begin — ranging from 1.
