About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Stenungsund's guest harbour is a municipally run small-boat marina located centrally in the town of Stenungsund on the Hakefjorden on Sweden's west coast, close to the Tjörn Bridge and within easy reach of Marstrand, Tjörn and the eastern side of Orust.
Advance booking of a berth is not possible – you simply pay via the municipality's e-service on arrival. If your boat exceeds 12 metres in length, 3.5 metres in beam or draws more than 2 metres, you are encouraged to contact the harbour staff in advance so you can be directed to a suitable berth.
The marina offers electricity, fresh water, toilets and showers, all included in the daily berth fee. There are also recycling stations for glass, metal, paper, plastic and food waste.
The guest harbour is a popular summer destination thanks to its proximity to shops, services and entertainment, and during the annual Tjörn Runt sailing festival the harbour buzzes with activity both afloat and ashore. Come alongside and enjoy Stenungsund's lively harbour setting right in the heart of town.
