About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Stenungsund guest harbour is a municipal marina in the centre of Stenungsund on Sweden's west coast in Bohuslän, at the entrance to the archipelago between the islands of Orust and Tjörn. The harbour sits in the heart of town, wedged between the Kulturhuset Fregatten cultural centre, the town hall and the Stenungstorg shopping centre.
Stenungsund guest harbour is a popular summer destination, with many boats stopping for shorter or longer stays. Advance booking is not possible, but if your boat exceeds 12 metres in length, 3.5 metres in beam or 2 metres in draft, you are asked to contact the harbour office beforehand during the season from 16 June to 16 August. Seasonal staff work in the guest harbour to make your stay more pleasant. Payment is made through the municipality's online e-service.
Electricity and water are available at the berth, while toilets, showers and a laundry room are reached via the service building, and free wifi is provided. A pump-out station for holding tanks is located on the jetty below Lilla Strandvägen. Sorted waste is easiest to leave at the sorting station outside the service facilities, by the harbour office and the town hall — for both guest visitors and permanent berth holders. Fuel is also available nearby.
You're only a few minutes' walk from shops, a pharmacy, restaurants and public transport. A couple of hundred metres to the south you'll also find the Sjökanten restaurant with additional alongside berths.
