About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026The guest harbour is run by Hudiksvalls Sjösportsällskap (HSSS) and lies in the inner part of the harbour, right in the centre of Hudiksvall, close to the town's amenities and the railway station.
The harbour offers around 23 guest berths on poles or buoys plus a further 3 alongside berths, with additional space available by the fuel dock. The season runs from mid-May to mid-October, and the office is staffed on weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a harbour host available until 7 PM; on weekends the office keeps shorter hours. The harbour is about a five-minute walk from the Resecentrum, where SJ trains (every two hours to Stockholm and Arlanda) and buses stop, making it an ideal spot for crew changes. Note that the harbour can experience some swell in strong winds from the southwest to west.
Electricity and water are available at the berths, and about 50 metres away the clubhouse offers showers and toilets (for men and women), a washing machine, tumble dryer and a small kitchen. There is a waste station for environmental refuse, and a fuel station with petrol and pure diesel (without rapeseed oil additive), equipped with a card machine for standard bank cards. Wireless internet is also available in the harbour.
The guest harbour is within walking distance of the town centre, with a wide range of shops, restaurants, a grocery store (Hemköp), a pharmacy and a state liquor store (Systembolaget).
