About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Småbåtshamnen in Limhamn is a large marina in the Limhamn district of Malmö Municipality, on the Öresund strait. It has 996 berths in the water plus roughly a hundred dry land spots for dinghies and small boats. Småbåtshamnen i Limhamn AB was formed in 1991 by the three clubs, and the entire harbour is leased from the municipality and run on a commercial basis for the benefit of the boat owners.
Berths range from 2.0 to 5.3 metres in width, and the navigable depth in the harbour is 2.3 metres in most places, while the depth between the long piers innermost is 1.2-2.0 metres. Guest berths are offered for boats up to 5 m wide and 2.3 m draught - look for berths marked with a green sign. The harbour office is basically open year-round, but the harbour's service facilities close on 31 October and reopen on 15 April, and the harbour company has a permanent harbourmaster reachable all year.
The harbour offers toilets and showers, and electricity, water and wifi are included in the berth price, along with waste disposal. Pump-out facilities are located next to the fuel station by the harbour entrance, and LPG, diesel and petrol are sold in the harbour, with diesel and petrol fuelling available by card every day of the year. The marine centre, built by the harbour in 2008, is leased out to companies including Hjertmans, Gransegel, Krandepån and Boat Consult, and the club's premises house a restaurant that is open year-round.
