About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Smedjebackens Båtklubb runs one of Sweden's largest inland-lake marinas on Lake Barken, split between Smedjebacken and Söderbärke with a total of around 400 berths, ranging from small dinghies to larger live-aboard boats. Most berths have finger pontoons with widths of two to just over four metres, with a few mooring buoys available.
There are slipways in both Smedjebacken (two of them) and Söderbärke, and Smedjebacken also has a winch capable of launching and hauling out boats up to 12 tonnes. The club's fuel berth offers unleaded 98-octane petrol and RME-free diesel, open during the season at a price one krona above cost.
The guest marina naturally welcomes visiting boats, and it's within walking distance of the town centre with shops and municipal services.
Tie up at the guest marina and take the short walk into Smedjebacken's centre for supplies and services.
