About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Sørlandet Feriesenter is a large holiday and camping resort with its own guest harbour, located in Sandnesfjorden just south of the town of Risør, midway between the wooden town of Risør and the island gem of Lyngør. As a guest berth holder you moor alongside the concrete floating docks and gain access to all of the resort's facilities.
The guest berth fee depends on the boat's length and the season, with a slightly higher rate during the high season around 4 July to 2 August, and the harbour fee is paid at reception no later than one hour after arrival. Motorboats, canoes and kayaks can also be rented on site.
The resort offers a heated outdoor pool area, toilets, showers and a washer/dryer. There is electricity available at the berths (for a fee), waste disposal, a shop selling items such as fresh bread and rolls, and an eatery/café with an à la carte menu, pizza and take-away. For children there is a playground, a jumping pillow and a ball court, and the resort also offers beach volleyball, mini golf and a swimming beach with floating platforms.
From the harbour there are good hiking opportunities, including to Hisåsen with views over the Skagerrak towards Risør and Lyngør, and to the potholes at Sild, considered among the largest in Northern Europe. Moor up alongside and enjoy the best of the Sørlandet coast right outside your boat.
